Studio Exploration - Tuesdays

GRADES 6-8

Students will spend time developing their artistic intuition as they learn new techniques, explore their own ideas, and are given space to nurture their own voice as an artist.

In this class, there's a balance of instruction and student-led studio time to learn about the tools, materials, and how to use them. The best learning happens as we grapple with materials and ideas!  We're not all going to make the same thing…I'm going to show you the techniques, give you time to practice and experiment, and then you have studio time to use your new knowledge and skills to create something unique and amazing! 

Mediums to discover this class include: drawing (a variety of techniques and materials), watercolor, printmaking, and air dry clay.
